Performances in Las Vegas are some of the best in the world, from musical theater to Cirque du Soliel to traditional flashy showgirls and stand up comedy. It really is worth it to try and check out at least one show that interests you on your trip, but sometimes those ticket prices don’t quite fit in your budget. If that’s the case, there are a couple things you can do to get discounted tickets.

Play Your Way to Tickets

If you’re interested in a Cirque du Soleil show, one way to get a good price on tickets or even free tickets is to play MyVegas on your phone. It’s a fun, easy virtual slots game where you win virtual chips to cash in for real rewards, some of which are for Cirque shows. In general, they’re a pretty affordable option as it is, but who doesn’t want to play their way to a free show?

Zarkana at the Aria, Ka at MGM Grand, Beatles Love at the Mirage, and Zumanity at New York New York are all Cirque shows that you can get free or heavily discounted tickets for on the MyVegas app. If you haven’t seen a Cirque du Soliel show, it’s really worth it with the impeccable sets, costumes, performance and music and the ones in Vegas are some of the best.

Another option is to visit the Tix4Tonight booth located along the Strip. If shows aren’t sold out, you can get tickets cheaply so that the theater can fill its empty seats. You’ve got to wait to get tickets the day of the show, so obviously you need to be flexible with your schedule and accept that your first choice show may not have tickets available. But for a hefty discount, it’s great to do something fun and spur of the moment.

You may have never considered going to see the 50 Shade parody, but maybe after half off from Tx4Tonight and 5 gin and tonics you may think it’s a great idea. And you don’t have to settle for something you don’t want to see. There are a wide variety of options for reasonable prices.

Check With Your Hotel

Hotels love to offer package deals that include better prices on stays, meals or drinks to go along with your tickets, so you can really make a night of a show! When in doubt, just ask. They want you to have a good time, and they’re happy to help get you tickets by either streamlining the process or giving you a deal.

Hit Up The Rewards Desk

Often times you can exchange rewards and comps for tickets to shows. So if you’ve been playing in Mlife casinos all week cashing in some reward points to see a show at the end of your trip may be a good way to use your points to make your trip more memorable and fun.

It’s important to sign up for rewards cards so you can cash in rewards points, but you’ll also receive emails about free tickets. For example, my boyfriend gets a lot of ticket offers from the Cosmo for concerts and UFC fights, and even things like ice skating.

If you really want a low budget experience, you can always find live music for extremely affordable prices or even free!
