I have a love-hate relationship with packing. I like planning outfits, organizing, etc. but I have an issue with keeping it to a minimum. In fact, I’m a chronic over-packer. I like my options… but I’m not about to pay an extra 50 bucks every time I fly so I had to get my shit together.
I struggle the most with places like Vegas because there are so many different scenarios you need to be prepared for: pool, shopping, casino, dinner, shows, bars, clubs, being too hungover to move… and I feel the need to have the perfect outfit for each of them. However, if I’m able to find multi-purpose pieces, my life is a whole lot easier.
The line at PacSun from Kendall & Kylie is one of my favorites for these pieces. Almost all of their pieces are something I could restyle and where for almost any situation in Vegas, here are a few of my faves:
I have a small obsession with rompers — there’s something about only having to wear one item of clothing that you can still spread your legs in that’s appealing to me. Pair this one with some wedges for a cute, casual brunch look, or throw it over your bikini and head down to the pool. The light material is perfect for the Vegas heat.
Speaking of heat, just make sure you don’t throw it in the dryer or the next time you wear it or you may be showing a little less class and a lot more ass than you intended.
Thanks to designs from the 1970’s being on trend this summer, lace up tops are everywhere. I love this one in particular for Vegas since the detail goes all the way down the shirt for a cheeky peek of skin. You can pair this with some high waisted denim shorts for a shopping marathon or dress it up at night with a mini skirt or a pair of skinny jeans and some killer heels.
In Vegas heat, one of my favorite things to throw on is a sundress — and this one will effortlessly take you from exploring the Strip during the day to dinner and a show at night thanks to the intricate neckline and LBD appeal. Just swap out walkable flats for some wedges and you’re good to go!
If you want to shop the line for your trip to Vegas but you don’t have a PacSun near you and don’t want to pay for shipping, then you’re in luck — there are 5 location in the Vegas area. The one in the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip is most likely the easiest to get to on your trip.
